We educate and train the health workers and researchers of the future and have a strong focus on fostering the development of Indigenous researchers.
By incorporating traditional knowledge and learning systems into our curriculum, we create a welcoming environment for all. We make sure our work is relevant so our students know they are making a difference, not just studying theoretical knowledge. We work and study in the world of real life challenges, and have created unique coursework that we are proud to showcase around Australia and beyond.
Over the past decade we have developed a range of courses focused on the changing needs of the communities in which we work. Within these courses we incorporate the unique range of expertise offered by Menzies’ staff, researchers and collaborators, together with experts and professionals from other institutions across the globe.
A diverse range of short courses, an award-winning Master of Public Health, a Professional Doctorate in Health, and Masters or PhD by research are all part of the Menzies education mix – there is an academic level and range of subjects to suit the needs of everyone interested in learning more about Indigenous, remote and tropical health.
