The Economic Cost of Racism in Australia

While there is increasing recognition that racism has serious health, social and economic consequences for the affected individual and their families; there has been no quantification of the financial cost to society as a whole. Racism has serious consequences for those affected, consequences that reduce economic productivity and produce other costs. This research will help build an economic case for combating racism in Australia.
