The Menzies Oration is an annual public address designed to stimulate robust and challenging discussion about the future of health in the Northern Territory, Australia and internationally.
This year, we’re delighted to be joined by Senator the Hon Malarndirri McCarthy, Minister for Indigenous Australians, who will deliver the 2024 Menzies Oration.
A Yanyuwa woman from the Gulf Country in the NT, Senator McCarthy will talk about her key role in driving national policy for and with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Australians.
The 2024 Menzies Medallion, the highest award offered by Menzies will also be presented, alongside the 2024 Companion of Menzies awards.
We are also pleased to welcome The Youth Mill Preforming Arts Company as they share a powerful Welcome to Country and cultural performance.
