Ms Cindy Penrose

Cindy Penrose is the CEO of the Yoorrook Justice Commission, the first formal truth-telling process into injustices experienced by First Peoples in Victoria. Previously, Cindy was the Chief Operating Officer of the Paul Ramsay Foundation, where she led the creation of ‘Yirranma Place’, and $100m+ investments in justice reform. She was the first female CEO of the Australian Bar Association and the Assistant Director of the Australian Defence Force’s Defence Abuse Response Taskforce. Cindy also serves on the Boards of Streetwork and Down The Track, as well as the NSW Government’s Anti-slavery Advisory Panel.
