Biography:
Danielle Aquino is project coordinator for the Maternal Early Childhood Sustained Home Visiting Program (MECSH). She has over 20 years of experience in working in nutrition, child and maternal health and community development, predominantly in remote Aboriginal communities in the Northern Territory. Previously, Danielle coordinated a multi-site early childhood nutrition and anaemia prevention project in six communities in the NT, Queensland and Western Australia. Danielle has also worked in Vanuatu supporting maternal and child nutrition capacity development.
Danielle is a PhD candidate researching family food practices in a remote Aboriginal community.
