Biography:

James Harley has experience in government, the cultural, not-for-profit and education sectors as well as manufacturing and retail. Areas of expertise include strategic project management, collaborative working practices, governance, business analysis & process re-engineering and information distribution. James has also provided strategy and governance advice for large local government organisations and universities.

James has been a consulting strategic project manager for RMIT since 2008, working on projects in the school of Property Construction and Project Management, Architecture, Design and Textiles and the Office of the PVC. He has managed a program of research for Construction Work Health & Safety Research @ RMIT since 2012. James has been a consulting project coordinator for Architects Without Frontiers since 2008.

James is currently Adjunct Associate Professor and Honorary Fellow at RMIT, has been a formal mentor to students at RMIT university and was a regular guest judge in the International Project Management course at Latrobe University and the Construction Management degree at RMIT.
