Location:
Kate Johnston is the project assistant for the Let’s Start: Play to Connect intervention program at the Centre for Child Development and Education. Kate is an aspiring play therapist who is currently studying her Master of Child Play Therapy by distance at Deakin University.
Kate has a passion for empowering young people to thrive and is ultimately most compelled by work within the intersection of creativity and mental health/well-being. Kate’s background includes working for various not-for-profit organisations as a performer, production coordinator and facilitator in Australia, Vietnam and Timor-Leste.
