Biography:
Mia is a public health researcher with 5 years’ experience working in alcohol and other drugs research, and a background working for the Australian Government Department of Health and the NHMRC in both cancer screening and infectious diseases policy. Her PhD is examining women’s alcohol use. She also researchers zero-alcohol beverages, e-cigarettes and the commercial determinants of health using mixed-methods approaches. Mia is supported by an Australian Government Research Training (RTP) scholarship and a Menzies School of Health Research too-up scholarship.
