Tara completed her BSc (Hons) Nursing at the University of Worcester in 2010, commencing her career in the Surgical setting.
Moving to New Zealand in 2011, she worked in Orthopaedics and Gastroenterology, before finding a passion for Intensive Care and High Dependency Nursing, going on to complete a Post Graduate Certificate in Critical Care through the University of Auckland.
A move to Darwin in 2016 to the Royal Darwin Hospital Intensive Care Unit and Emergency Departments inspired an interest in Aboriginal Health.
Tara went on to complete the Transition to Remote Area Nurse programme within Central Australia, gaining further insight and is now working as a Research Nurse for the Deadly Ears at Discharge Study.
